"He will Quiet You"

Journal Entry-January 24, 2009
I've had several calls and cards lately that have been especially encouraging to me as I wait for my treatment to start next week.

''The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exalt over you with joy, He will quiet you in his love. He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy." Zephaniah 3:17

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace." Romans 15:13

"The Lord will bless His people with peace." Psalm 29:11

"Behold I am with you and will keep you wherever you go...for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you." Genesis 28:15

My Journal of Remembrance of God's Blessings

"Yes, and I will rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body." Philippians 1:19-20

I am continuing this journal to help me remember all of God's blessings to me through this journey. It has been and will be a source of encouragement to me that I can return to again and again. I will post my progress as I continue treatment for my cancer, but more than that, I will record encouraging thoughts and verses that others have sent to me along the way. I hope they will be an encouragement to you, as well. The Lord is the same in any trial or struggle that we go through-the same yesterday, today, and forever!
