"He always lives"

Journal Entry-April 2, 2010

"The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, but He(Christ) holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. Consequently, He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7: 23-25

My surgery went well and I am at home. I've had a little nausea and moderate but controllable pain. I have 4 stitches that will have to be removed next Thursday. My path reports did not come in today, so it will be Monday before I know anything. Hopefully all the tissue samples will only show atypical cells. If so, they will just monitor them on mammograms every 6 months. Thanks for your continued prayers and assistance in practical ways!

My Journal of Remembrance of God's Blessings

"Yes, and I will rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body." Philippians 1:19-20

I am continuing this journal to help me remember all of God's blessings to me through this journey. It has been and will be a source of encouragement to me that I can return to again and again. I will post my progress as I continue treatment for my cancer, but more than that, I will record encouraging thoughts and verses that others have sent to me along the way. I hope they will be an encouragement to you, as well. The Lord is the same in any trial or struggle that we go through-the same yesterday, today, and forever!
