"He is not here, for He has risen, as He said." Matthew 28:6

Journal Entry-April 12, 2009

There have been very few times over the years that I have missed going to church on Easter Sunday, but this year is one of those times. It is always very uplifting to sing the songs and hear the message of Easter! The message that "He has risen, as He said."! This is all our hope and peace! God Bless each of you as you celebrate with your families this wonderful Resurrection Day!

My Journal of Remembrance of God's Blessings

"Yes, and I will rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body." Philippians 1:19-20

I am continuing this journal to help me remember all of God's blessings to me through this journey. It has been and will be a source of encouragement to me that I can return to again and again. I will post my progress as I continue treatment for my cancer, but more than that, I will record encouraging thoughts and verses that others have sent to me along the way. I hope they will be an encouragement to you, as well. The Lord is the same in any trial or struggle that we go through-the same yesterday, today, and forever!
