Anniversary Surprise!

Journal Entry-May 25, 2009

I had a very sweet and unexpected surprise at church yesterday from Joe and the kids! They placed flowers in my honor and in celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary, which is Thursday, May 28.
God has blessed me with such a wonderful husband and family! They have been my daily, constant encouragment and I am so thankful for them.

My Journal of Remembrance of God's Blessings

"Yes, and I will rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body." Philippians 1:19-20

I am continuing this journal to help me remember all of God's blessings to me through this journey. It has been and will be a source of encouragement to me that I can return to again and again. I will post my progress as I continue treatment for my cancer, but more than that, I will record encouraging thoughts and verses that others have sent to me along the way. I hope they will be an encouragement to you, as well. The Lord is the same in any trial or struggle that we go through-the same yesterday, today, and forever!
